-

This is our first post to show you some of the cool stuff you can do with WordPress CMS.

If you’re just visiting this site that’s great (now go place an order!) – but if this is now YOUR site sitting on YOUR hosting account naturally you are going to want to delete (trash) this post and add your own – easy to do in your Admin Area.

.

The same applies to the various info ‘Pages’ we have on the site. But if you want to refer back to those pages for info the best thing to do, again in your Admin Area, is to change the ‘Status’ of those pages from ‘Published’ to ‘Draft’ – that way your visitors won’t see them but you can always access them.

Don’t forget to access all the video training tutorials on using WordPress and use the ‘Comment facility’ on that site to ask questions unfortunately we are unable to offer one-to-one – support for purchasers of othis premium site build offer as that is restricted to our full-time clients. But fear not, apart from our own video training, the Web is awash with info on using WordPress.

One thing to remember though is that there are 2 types of WordPress.

A self-hosted WordPress site (via WordPress.org) that you own, control and that is a serious business asset capable of being tweaked, optimised and customised any way you want.

A WordPress.com site that sits on WordPress.com’s hosting and which, when all is said and done, you do not own and can’t do whatever you want with. It might even have ads on it for which you will receive no revenue!

Point being: Relax, you have the first option! Phew!
